To sow a seed

It is still snowing outside and it is difficult to understand that the spring is coming and the earliest seeds should be sown already. This Picture is from last year. As usual I didn't manage to keep all the small seeds and plants with their correct name and I just needed to wait which plant was growing out of these seeds. I was too early with these ones, they were getting too weak after growing too long behind the window. I need to learn some patience and wait that the spring is closer.

These ones needed a pretty long time for germinating. I thougth that they didn´t want to grow att all. But then one mornig something light green was watching out from the black Shell.

Evangelist Markus has written down many parables of Jesus that are telling about seeds. Seeds are like faith. The man sows the seeds. After that he is resting and God makes the seeds to grow. The man doesn´t need to do anything for just the growth, he cannot either. How the growing happened must have been a big mysterious for the people of Jesus time. Today we understand it better, but it is still God that gives growth. After the sowing, we can rest and the seed keeps growing. Later our work is needed to take care of the plant: we need to see that there is enough water and fertilizer for the plat to grow and often even more important is to keep the weeds away from the tiny plants. When the plant is growing stronger it can easier beat the weeds and tolerate more. No wonder that Jesus was often using the seeds to describe the faith.
